BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Whatcom County primary election results have been certified.

The Whatcom Election Division results web site shows races were certified Tuesday with a final voter turnout of 61.64%.

The election reconciliation report shows 1166 of the 93946 ballots received, or 1.2%, were rejected.

Reasons for rejection include late postmarks and signature mismatches.
