BLAINE, Wash. — A suspected DUI crash Saturday afternoon sent a Bellingham man to the hospital.
Troopers say 20-year-old Miranda Ziesing of Lake Stevens was driving northwest on Marine Drive and crossed over into oncoming traffic, striking the motorcycle ridden by 54-year-old Kevin Jacobsen head on.
Ziesing continued north and stopped in a driveway, uninjured.
Jacobsen was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but the State Patrol says drugs or alcohol were involved.
