MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A Bellingham motorcyclist died in a Highway 20 crash Sunday night near Mazama.
George E Shufelt, age 33, was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorcycle crossed the center line and hit a truck driven by Kirk Rowan of Mount Vernon.
The State Patrol said Shufelt was driving too fast.
Neither Rowan nor his passenger were injured.
Troopers say drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
