BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A portion of Northwest Drive will be closed to traffic for the next few weeks.
Public works crews are paving portions of Northwest Drive and Slater Road as well as replacing a culvert on Northwest that the county says will completely close the road until at least September 11.
The road will be closed between Slater Road and Mahogany Avenue.
Traffic can detour around the area via Pacific Highway.
