BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Jalapenos Family Mexican Restaurant’s downtown location was broken into Monday night.
Someone apparently smashed a glass door to get into the restaurant on Holly Street sometime after closing.
Owner Jesse Cantu says on Facebook that they lost about $2000 in liquor and have been cleaning up a lot of glass, but they are open.
He adds that they still have enough tequila for their signature Big Mama margaritas.
