BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Drive-thru COVID-19 testing in Lynden is cancelled Friday afternoon due to poor air quality.
The Whatcom County Health Department says testing scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sikh Temple on Pole Road is cancelled.
They hope to still offer testing Saturday at Civic Field in Bellingham from 9 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
But the department will continuously monitor air quality and say they may need to also close that testing site.
