BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A long-serving Bellingham Police officer is retiring.
Detective Pauline Renick spent her entire 28 year police career with the Bellingham Police Department.
She became emotional as she thanked her fellow officers and others in her final radio sign out.
She has served in many roles with Bellingham Police including patrol, the bicycle unit, DARE and School Resource Officer, field training officer.
She was promoted to detective in 2011 and has specialized in internet crimes against children.
