SEATTLE, Wash. — NOAA is forecasting the gradual air quality improvement we are seeing, to continue.

An incoming weather system should provide some gradual relief to the area with air quality improving by tomorrow.

Meteorologists say there is still some risk of lighting from scattered storms igniting new fires, but wetting rains expected tonight and tomorrow will limit those risks.

The EPA’s air quality forecast for Bellingham is unhealthy for sensitive groups today and good tomorrow through Monday.
