OTTOWA, Ca. — The U.S./Canada border closure has been extended yet again amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Canadian Minister of Public Safety Bill Blair tweeted that the border will remain closed to non-essential travel until October 21st.
He says they will continue to base decisions on the best public health advice available to keep Canadians safe.
The border has been closed since March 21st in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 between the neighboring countries.
This is the sixth time the closure has been extended.
