BIRCH BAY, Wash. — The road work in Birch Bay scheduled for this week has been pushed back.
Whatcom County Public Works says expected rain has postponed gravel paving between Lora Lane and the Bay Breeze Restaurant that was originally scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
For now, the public can disregard instructions to avoid the area.
The county did not say when work will resume.
