MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — A Mount Vernon man is dead after he crashed his motorcycle last night north of Burlington.
The state patrol says 58- year old Ronald W. Brodland was heading east on Bow Hill Road at Hobson Road toward I-5 just before 10pm when he crossed the center line, through the opposite lane and then off the road and into a concrete barrier.
Troopers say intoxication was a factor but Brodland was wearing a helmet.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
