BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Some local public school students are headed back to the classroom.
Lynden Superintendent Jim Frey says they’re ready to welcome preschool through 2nd graders back on October 5th.
He says kids will have to be cleared to be allowed into the classroom and says they’ll watch local infection rates as they gradually bring older students back.
Blaine Schools began bringing back select students who have educational challenges Monday.
All other Whatcom County public school districts continue with distance instruction.
