SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — The Sedro-Woolley School District will transition to a hybrid learning model October 5 for its younger students.
The hybrid model will combine two days of classroom attendance with three days of remote learning.
The district will also offer a remote-only option for families who do not yet feel comfortable having their students return to school.
The district plans to monitor the transition and will start to plan for transitioning grades three through six at a later date.
Middle and high school students will not return to the classroom until COVID-19 numbers decrease to less than 25 cases per 100,000 population for 14 days in a row.
