LONDON — It could be quite a while before you can see a Hollywood blockbuster on the big screen in Bellingham.

Regal Entertainment Group’s owner, Cineworld, has announced an indefinite closure of all its theaters in the U.S., including the Regal 16 in Bellingham.

The second largest cinema chain in the U.S. began opening some locations in August, but the Wall Street Journal reports the latest blow was another delay to the opening of the latest James Bond film “No Time To Die.”

MGM has bumped that opening from November to next April.

Delays to “Wonder Woman 1984” movie and the Marvel spinoff “Black Widow” are also rocking the theater industry.
