OLYMPIA, Wash. — First time unemployment claims continue to drop statewide.
For the week ending October 3rd, employment security reported about 15,500 initial filers.
That number reflects a drop of over 20% over the prior two weeks.
The biggest drops came for food preparation, management, and construction workers.
