WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – One person is under arrest and another is being sought in the murder of a Bellingham man.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s office says deputies responded to reports of a man lying near an idling vehicle in a gravel pullout on Mosquito Lake Road at about 9 a.m. Sunday.
They found 41-year-old Clinton E Gulick dead with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
Evidence led investigators to 36-year-old Rosanne L. Paden of Bellingham and they arrested her Sunday night.
Officers are also looking for 34-year-old Zachary S. Ranahan of Bellingham in connection with the murder.
He is considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information of where he may be is asked to call 9-1-1.
Ranahan is described as 5’6″, 165 lbs., bald with hazel eyes.
Other information about the crime including a possible motive isn’t being released at this time.
