BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Flyers with swastika symbols on them were reportedly posted in downtown Bellingham and in Fairhaven over the weekend.
The Bellingham Police Department said multiple businesses in the Fairhaven and Downtown Districts had white stickers with a black swastika placed on windows.
Police are investigating it as a hate crime.
In a Facebook post, police have asked for help with identifying the suspect, who seems to be of average height and weight, and was wearing a face mask with a skull imprint.
If you notice a sticker on your business, please call 9-1-1 and report it to BPD.
