FERNDALE, Wash. — The Ferndale City Council is urging voters to approve the Ferndale Schools’ replacement levy on November 3rd.
The Council unanimously passed a resolution in support of the operations levy at its Monday meeting.
The resolution points out that this would replace an expiring levy with a lower tax rate than what property owners are currently paying.
This is the school district’s second attempt at a replacement levy after voters rejected one in February.
The district says it would fund staff, computers and technology and other student services and learning opportunities.
