MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A 35-year old woman has died after being assaulted in the parking lot of a popular casino.
Following a several hour standoff Monday, police officers in Pierce County arrested a Spanaway man for investigation of the murder.
Witnesses reported seeing the man assaulting the victim inside an SUV that was shaking side to side at the Tulalip Casino.
As the SUV vehicle drove off, the victim was pushed out the door.
The Everett Herald reports Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies found the Lakewood woman unconscious and with life-threatening injuries.
The woman was taken to an Everett hospital, where she died Sunday.
