MARYSVILLE, Wash. — A tragic pedestrian traffic death in south Everett yesterday.
The state patrol says a 30-year old Mount Vernon man was walking on the left shoulder of I-5 near mile marker 191 at about 1am Sunday when he stepped in front of a car driven by an Everett woman and was hit.
Troopers say the man died at the scene.
It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved.
His name has not yet been released.
