BELLINGHAM, Wash. — You can help animals in need by volunteering your services at a local thrift shop.
The Whatcom Humane Society is looking for people to join a team of volunteers at their thrift shop located in the Cordata Place Shopping Center, near Burlington Coat Factory.
The humane society says they have several positions available, including cashiers, greeters and door monitors, as well as positions on their donation intake team.
They are not yet accepting donations of second-hand items, but they plan to begin that process next week.
