SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — Two men are in custody for a September equipment theft from a Highway 20 construction site.
Sedro-Woolley police say $3000 of gear including a highway compactor was stolen on September 24th.
Tuesday, the owner of the compactor spotted it for sale online, and contacted police.
Officers set up a meeting with the sellers, who showed up with the compactor in their pickup and a handgun in the cab.
Police said the two convicted felons would be booked into jail and charged.
