FERNDALE, Wash. — The City of Ferndale is recruiting members for a new advisory committee on equity.
At their last meeting, the Ferndale City Council formed the committee to make recommendations to elected officials and city staff.
The stated goals are to help the city attract diverse and well-qualified staff, facilitate trainings and educational opportunities around race and equity, and “research ways to increase equity in housing, land use, policing” and several other areas.
