NEW YORK, NY — Governor Jay Inslee is being considered for energy secretary or EPA head in a Joe Biden administration.
The New York Times and other national media outlets reported on contenders for Biden’s cabinet Wednesday.
They say environmental activists are pushing for Inslee after he made a name for himself as an environmentalist during his ultimately unsuccessful presidential bid.
Because Inslee was just re-elected as governor of Washington state, a new governor would need to be elected in his place if he were to accept a post in a Biden administration.
