BELLINGHAM, Wash. — More wind is bearing down on Whatcom County and the Pacific Northwest.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Whatcom County Emergency Management Division Deputy Director John Gargett says we can expect winds of 35 to 40 miles per hour with gusts as high as 60.
And he says the wind will arrive at the same time as an exceptionally high King Tide, but he says no river flooding is expected.
A Small Craft Advisory is also in effect with 5 to 7 foot waves expected on coastal waters through this afternoon.
