BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Skiers and snowboarders, it’s time to get your gear ready.
The Mount Baker Ski Area has received 81 inches of new snow in the past week and will open for the 2020 season Friday.
Operations will look a bit different this year with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
No daily lift tickets will be available Friday and Saturday as those days will be reserved for passholders.
There will be no lessons or rentals available this weekend, food service will be take-out only and there will be no beer service.
