OLYMPIA, Wash. — The state has released a new app meant to improve transparency in land conservation.
The Recreation and Conservation office has updated their Public Lands Inventory, and made it available online in an app.
Office director Kaleen Cottingham says “The app should make it easier for land managers to plan their purchases, partner with neighboring landowners and improve efficiency in land transactions”.
The app details all public lands statewide, listing use, ownership and more with an online mapping feature that is filterable by county and district.
