BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Mount Baker Ski Area is up and running after a successful opening weekend.
CEO Gwyn Howat says it was a fantastic start to the season.
Howat says they’re operating with some changes due to the pandemic, but it’s not hard to comply with the new rules and have a great time because there’s plenty of room to stay more than 6 feet apart.
Distancing is required in lines and on chair lifts and they’re not doing rentals or lessons right now.
No indoor dining is allowed but they still offer great food.
Find the latest snow conditions and information at the ski area’s website.
