BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Lynden man who had been missing for two weeks has been found dead.
Timothy Elenbass was reported missing on November 16th and his car was found at Tenant Lake.
Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies and Search and Rescue searched the area for the 47-year-old the next day but were unsuccessful.
Detectives returned to the lake with a drone on Tuesday and were able to locate human remains in a thick marsh.
Summit to Sound Search and Rescue recovered the body and the sheriff’s office confirmed it was the missing man.
