BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The state Department of Ecology has released a draft cleanup action plan for the Harris Avenue Shipyard Site on the Bellingham waterfront.
The plan calls for removing and capping contaminated soil and sediment, monitoring conditions and restricting activities that could disturb capped areas.
Documents are available for review and comment between December 7th and January 20th, along with a virtual site tour.
Ecology will also host an online public meeting on December 16 with a question and answer period.
