OLYMPIA, Wash. — As the holidays near, DUI enforcement is ramping up.
The Northwest Region Target Zero initiative has announced there will be increased DUI Patrols this weekend and next in Whatcom, Skagit, Island and San Juan Counties.
The State Patrol says alcohol and drug impaired driving is the leading contributing factor in Washington deadly crashes, with nearly half of all traffic deaths in Washington involving an impaired driver.
