BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The first day of Winter is bringing some winter driving conditions to Whatcom County.
Snow has fallen in much of the county and roads are becoming snow packed and slippery in spots.
Temperatures are expected to fall to around freezing tonight so expect slick conditions on roadways especially in northern parts of the county.
In Bellingham we’re seeing some flooding in intersections.
The City of Bellingham says Public Works crews are working on snow and ice control, preparing equipment for de-icing.
Crews will work into the night as needed.
