BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Widespread power outages are possible Tuesday.
High winds are expected throughout western Whatcom and Skagit counties as well as in San Juan County.
The National Weather Service is forecasting southeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.
They have issued a high wind watch in effect from Tuesday noon through 10 PM.
Residents should fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe place before the wind arrives.
