Blaine middle, high school students return to in-person learning

BLAINE, Wash. — Middle and high school students in Blaine are returning to in-person learning following updated guidance from the Governor.

Starting on Wednesday, grades six through nine will start a hybrid plan with half-day in-person learning alternating weekly with remote learning.

Grades 10 through 12 will begin in-person learning next Monday.

The Northern Light reports the district’s ability to have in-person learning depends on county metrics.

As of December 29, the district has had a case rate of 108 cases per 100,000.
