BLAINE, Wash. — Progress continues on the Birch Bay Berm project.
Gravel placement is now reaching the north end of Birch Bay Drive, and Public Works says that work will continue next week.
Contractors will also continue to pour length of concrete sidewalk and prepare the limestone path.
Birch Bay Drive commuters should expect occasional lane closures.
The Birch Bay Berm project broke ground in September 2019.
