BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Coronavirus activity in Whatcom County is at an all time high.
The health department recorded 173 new cases on Wednesday, a new single-day record.
The day before, 37 new cases were reported.
Four of those cases reported Wednesday were hospitalized due to the illness, but no new deaths were reported.
PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center reports they’re currently caring for 19 COVID patients.
