BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Police successfully rescued a local boy’s birthday.
The Bellingham Police Department shared the story on social media, in which officers responded to a report of a vehicle prowl and discovered the thieves had stolen a woman’s wallet.
It turns out, it was that woman’s son Eli’s 4th birthday, but she was unable to pick up his gift and dragon birthday cake because of her missing wallet.
The two responding officers jumped into action.
One paid for and delivered the cake and the other got Eli some fun BPD swag — a football, hot wheels and a stuffed animal.
