BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Sedro-Woolley man is charged with repeatedly molesting his girlfriend’s young daughter in Bellingham.
The 8-year-old girl’s parents share custody and Whatcom Superior Court records show her father took her to a hospital after she disclosed the abuse.
She said 24-year-old Matthew Walter Baird touched her privates when her mother left them alone in her Texas Street apartment.
Officers arrested Baird on Friday, January 15th.
He faces a charge of 1st Degree Child Molestation.
