BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Several local restaurants are re-opening under new “open air guidelines” OK’d by L&I.
The new guidelines require restaurants to arrange seating to occur in unobstructed outdoor air in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
L&I also requires restaurants to limit occupancy to 25% capacity and continuously monitor CO2 levels.
Some of the restaurants complying with these new guidelines include Our Diner, Twin Sisters, Lighthouse Bar and Grill and Latitude Kitchen and Bar in Bellingham as well as Outlaws Saloon in Ferndale.
Several other local eateries are open for outdoor dining across Whatcom County as well.
