BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The City of Bellingham has ordered an end to the encampment at City Hall, and the response hasn’t been entirely peaceful.
The mayor’s office reports some rocks were thrown at windows at City Hall.
Several windows on the first and second floors, including one in the mayor’s second floor office, were broken.
The City has posted a legal notice on its website ordering the areas around City Hall and the Public Library vacated by 4 p.m. Friday.
