BURLINGTON, Wash. — Drugs laced with fentanyl are believed to be responsible for a drug overdose in Burlington.
Officers responded to a call Saturday evening to a residence in the 1200 block of Gilkey Road, ultimately locating four people at the residence who had ingested the pills.
While waiting for Fire and Aid units to arrive, the officers immediately began to take life-saving measures, including administering two doses of Narcan to one of the patients.
Two Burlington men, aged 26 and 61, were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Detectives are investigating the source of the illegal drugs that lead to the overdose.
