BOSTON, Mass. — With the recent waning of the post-holiday surge, gas prices are starting to tick up again.
Patrick DeHaan, a petroleum analyst for GasBuddy.com, says while many factors continue to push oil prices higher, the foundation of the rise is the slowly improving coronavirus situation.
DeHaan forecasts higher gas prices in the months to come as travel becomes more of a possibility.
Statewide, gas prices are averaging $2.77, right in the middle of the range of prices seen over the past ten years in the state.
