BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman wanted in connection with an overdose death involving fentanyl that occurred in November 2019.
A department spokesperson says a warrant was issued in November for 48-year-old Rachel Gonzalez of Ferndale after she failed to appear for a court hearing.
She was located and arrested at a motel on the Guide Meridian in Bellingham on Sunday.
She faces a 1st degree manslaughter charge.
