BIG LAKE, Wash. — One woman is dead and another in jail after a fight apparently broke out over a political sign in Skagit County.
The Skagit Valley Herald reports Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a fight at a home on Big Lake Road Saturday evening.
Deputies found a 32-year-old Arlington woman dead in the driveway.
Their initial investigation determined that the fight began over the theft of a political sign.
A 55-year-old woman was booked into jail on second-degree murder charges, while her 58-year-old husband was arrested for investigation of fourth-degree assault.
