BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A large-scale COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be set up in Bellingham in a few weeks.
The Whatcom County Health Department announced that Bellingham Technical College has agreed to host a community vaccination site that will start in March.
The goal is to vaccinate up to 5,000 people per week at the site, depending on vaccine availability.
Several local healthcare providers are partnering with BTC on the effort, which will utilize students in the school’s nursing program to help with staffing.
Nursing students from Whatcom Community College will also be ready to help out.
