BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A bicycle rider escaped with no major injuries after a car collided with her on Iowa Street in Bellingham Tuesday.
Police Lieutenant Claudia Murphy reports the bike rider began crossing the street just west of Woburn around 1 p.m. when she was hit by a car turning left onto Iowa from Valencia Street.
The bike rider wasn’t seriously hurt.
Officers gave the driver a traffic citation.
Traffic on Iowa Street was blocked during the investigation.
