FERNDALE, Wash. — Leadership at the Ferndale School District will look different next year.
After 12 years in the position, the district’s superintendent, Dr. Linda Quinn, has announced her plans to retire in summer 2021.
Quinn’s first steps in the education field were taken at Puyallup High School in 1974 where she taught English.
The School Board will hold a meeting March 9 to decide the next steps in the process of finding a replacement.
Quinn says she will miss working for the district, but she looks forward to spending more time with her family.
