Ferndale City Clerk elected president of statewide professional organization

FERNDALE, Wash. — A Ferndale City official has achieved a statewide distinction.

City Clerk Susan Duncan was recently elected President of the Washington Municipal Clerks Association, a statewide professional organization.

Duncan has been the City Clerk since 2015 and is responsible for management of all public records, assembly of council packets and all human resources for the City.

She became a Certified Municipal Clerk in 2016 and in 2020 she received certification as a Master Municipal Clerk.

Duncan will be sworn in later this month at the organization’s annual business meeting.
