OLYMPIA, Wash. — All Washington counties will soon move to Phase 3 of the governor’s Roadmap to Recovery plan, allowing more indoor capacity and spectators at sporting and other events.
Goveror Jay Inslee says adherence to safety protocols and increasing vaccination rates allow him to move the state forward on March 22nd.
Phase 3 will allow 50% of capacity in restaurants, gyms and other businesses.
The Seattle Mariners will be able to have 9,000 fans in the stands at T-Mobile Park on opening day.
And Inslee advisor Nick Streuli says up to 400 people will be allowed into high school sports events before the official move to the new phase…
The plan will also return to evaluations by county rather than region.
Evaluations will begin April 12th and counties that don’t meet Phase 3 case and hospitalization requirements will be moved back to Phase 2.
