OLYMPIA, Wash. — More groups in Washington will be eligible to get the coronavirus vaccine at the end of the month.
Restaurant workers and those with two or more underlying conditions are among the groups who will be able to get the shot starting March 31.
Others who will be eligible include those 16 and older with two or more chronic health conditions, anyone between the ages of 60 and 64, those 16 and older living in congregate settings like correctional facilities or group homes, or those experiencing homelessness, and workers in restaurants, manufacturing and construction.
The expansion was announced a day after grocery store workers, law enforcement and agricultural workers became eligible for the vaccination, along with those who are pregnant and those with a disability that puts them at high risk for severe COVID-19 illness.
